We haven't taken much pictures or videos this week, so I'll post a video from a couple of months ago. This was taken last November. When we were in Chicago, Jeff, Asher, and I tried to do some shopping. I say "tried" because it is typically rather unproductive- I think you will see why in this video. We went to DSW Shoes, which I had been told was a "higher end" outlet shoe store. As you can see, we spent most of the time cleaning up after Asher rather than trying on shoes.
But you know, I can honestly say that these silly things Asher does almost make up for the fact that my shoe collection has been drastically diminished over the last couple of years- almost.

Busy Boy
Nothing new much this week. Asher has just been so funny and silly lately. Jeff keeps saying that he wishes he could "bottle him" at this age so he can take him with him everywhere he goes. We've been taking more videos of him lately so I plan on posting a couple of them soon.
Asher loves "fixing" things with Jeff. Notice how Jeff is actually letting him use the wrench. Well done, guys!
Asher has recently gotten very attached to Elmo, which is ironic since he's never watched Sesame Street (or much TV actually). Too bad he didn't get attached to one of his many other unique stuffed toys. I guess Elmo just has a special power over kids.
It seems like every time I am carrying Asher, I am carrying Elmo too.
Like I said, Asher is just so silly lately. He makes us laugh all the time.

Happy 2008!
Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. It's been an especially busy couple of weeks. I'm still trying to finish up a project that I started last year and I am working on a proposal for another one. Plus, once again I am looking for a new nanny.
Breakfast on a lazy day.
Much to my dismay, Asher seems to have developed Jeff's taste in food rather than mine lately. Meaning, he likes things like pizza but no longer enjoys vegetables. But I do have to take the blame for the fact that he loves ice cream and sweets.
Asher never seems to want to get into the bath, but once he's in, he loves it (especially if Jeff is goofing around with him).
Other than that, things are great. I enrolled Asher in two classes last week. The first is a music class (the kids sing songs, dance, and play instruments), and the second (which will start next month) is a gym class that Jeff is going to take him to. Speaking of Jeff, he and Asher just loved spending lots of quality time together over the holidays. They did lots of things together, including "guy" things like going to the hardware store.
Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.
Jeff insisted that we get Asher a haircut last week. I still haven't forgiven him (neither have most of my girlfriends). I miss Asher's curls. Plus, I can't believe how much older he looks now. He definitely doesn't look like a baby anymore.
This is Asher's hair pre haircut. Look at those curls!
